Low-Carb Keto Parmesan Herb Crusted Salmon

Serving Size: Serves 5 | Prep Time: 5 min. | Cook Time: 15 min.

This wild caught salmon is drizzled in extra virgin olive oil and topped with a mouthwatering blend of herbs and cheese then baked to perfection. This recipe is a family favorite and something I make fairly regularly. It's also a staple for ketosis and has only 1 gram of carbs per serving! So if you're practicing the keto diet, make sure you add this recipe to your list!

Ingredients:

  • 5 wild caught salmon fillets (I used about 1 1/2 lbs. and sliced into pieces)

  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese shredded

  • • 4 garlic cloves minced

  • • 1/4 cup parsley chopped

  • • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • • Salt and pepper to taste

  • • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • • 1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick’s Grill Mates BBQ Seasoning

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Add the olive oil to the salmon then add the seasonings.

  3. Combine the parsley, garlic, and cheese in a small bowl and stir. Sprinkle on top of the salmon.

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and add the salmon. Cover with another piece of parchment paper before placing in the oven.

  5. Bake for 10 min. Remove parchment paper & bake for another 5 min.

  6. Allow the salmon to cool and serve.

I really hope you love and enjoy this salmon recipe as much as I do. Feel free to get creative with your side dishes when you're cooking. One of my favorite sides is a leafy collard green salad, it pairs really well with the salmon and saves on carbs too. Not to mention all those dark and leafy greens are great for brain health and cognitive function!
